QUINCY — Parents of high school students can learn how to navigate college admissions and financial aid during Quincy University’s second offering of its free “College 101: A How-To for Parents” workshop at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5 in Francis Hall.

The workshop is open to parents of any high school student—not just those considering QU— and is particularly valuable for families navigating the procedure for an initial occasion.

“College 101 offers parents college search best practices, FAFSA updates and state/federal aid opportunities,” said Justin Ray, MSE, dean of admissions, in a press release. “Parents will leave the evening with an even deeper understanding of how to best support their students through the college search process.”

Admissions and Student Financial Services professionals will be on hand to answer questions.

Registration is required to attend. Register at https://www.quincy.edu/college-101-parent-night-form.
